EMPLOYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Rates are in Qatari Riyals.
Working hours 11 / day, 28/30 days per month. Overtime rates exceeding these hours will be based on 125% of the standard hourly rate, Fridays will be at 150% and holidays at 200%.
Monthly high-production bonuses will be paid to operators that have high production performance with good maintenance / low breakdown track record on a monthly basis, equivalent to 20% of monthly salary.
Bonuses given to employees with good safety & environmental practices.
Company provides free ticket at the end of employment period. Initial ticket at employee’s expense.
Company provides free round-trip ticket for returning employees at employment agreement renewal.
Company will provide free accommodation and food or alternative allowances.
Company shall provide free work men’s compensation insurance & medical insurance.
Employment period shall be 2 years with an option for renewal, with a 180-day probation period.
Annual leave & indemnity is 42 days / year, subject to successful completion of employment term.
All the above positions are shore-based not offshore; therefore, these positions are not considered seafarers.
All marine crew MUST have valid Seaman’s Book & STCW95 training certificates.
